Fans dying to know how The Clique got started find out in this prequel, in which the five girls, each with her own problems, connect during a glamorous New Year's Eve party. Brand names, mean-girl treatment, and irritating lingo (such as the exclamation "Ehmagawd!") are the notable features of this story; there's nothing really likable about these spoiled fourth(!)-graders.
